Go to the official StudentAid BC school search and type the school name. If it does not appear, the school is likely not designated for StudentAid BC funding.
Step 2
Confirm PTIRU status
Visit the PTIRU private training institutions directory and check whether the school holds a current Designated Institution Certificate.
Step 3
Ask the school the right questions
Contact the financial aid office. Ask for the StudentAid BC program code, delivery format, and whether the program is full-time or part-time.
Step 4
Get it in writing
Before you pay a deposit, ask for written confirmation of designation status, total tuition, extra fees, and refund policy.
