We will not share your contact details with schools or third parties without your explicit consent.

Third-party sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with third parties when necessary to operate our services, process payments, send communications, or comply with legal obligations:

• Payment processor (Waffo): When you make a school purchase, we share payment details, billing email, and transaction metadata so Waffo can process the payment securely.
• Email service (Brevo): We share your email address and the content of the message so we can send assessment results, opportunity notifications, and account-related emails.
• Cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare, Turso): Your data is stored and transmitted through our hosting, database, and CDN providers. They process data only to provide infrastructure services and are bound by appropriate security obligations.
• Analytics: We may use analytics tools that collect anonymized or aggregated usage data (such as page views and device type) to help us improve the website. This does not include your name, email, or assessment answers.
• Schools: Only after you have explicitly selected a school and that school has paid for an introduction will we share your contact details and AI matching summary with that specific school.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose personal information if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Your data rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you. You may also withdraw consent for us to share your contact details with schools at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@bctrainingnavigator.org with the subject "Data Rights Request". We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

Account deletion

If you have created an account or submitted information through our tools, you can request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email above. Note that some information may be kept for legal, fraud-prevention, or audit purposes where required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures. However, no online service is completely secure.
