Requirements

. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety vest. Personal suitability: Accurate. Reliability. Team player. Values and ethics.

Experience

: 3 years to less than 5 years. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for mature workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers .
